This is 1 of 4 of "The Nearly Perfect Rifle Battery" of which only 100 sets were made. I am not sure that means anything to anyone as it means little too me.
I bought this with an incorrect assumption it had a forward recoil lug and would rather get rid of this and purchase a rifle with the barrel lug. It is a Super Grade with beautiful wood and bluing. I need $1150 out of it or would consider trading for a Winchester Safari 375 H&H.

I forgot to mention the rifle is new unfired unless it was fired at the factory.

Very nice rifle

Nice looking rifle, best of luck!

Great wood on that rifle, Ryan. Best of luck on the sale.

Congratulations Ryan!

Gorgeous M70!!!

Were I you I’d definitely keep the rifle and have a gunsmith fit a front recoil lug. The rifle could be glass bedded at the same time.

Hi Ryan,
Glad you sold the rifle, your better off with a barrel banded mount for your sling. How's Bill doing?
Cheers, Gordon

A MidwayUSA Foundation Promo- that's one of Larry Potterfield's deals. Looks like a nice rifle and the price was certainly right!

For whoever got it- won't be too hard to add a front recoil lug then glass bed the whole works.

Congrats @Johnl.

Bill is great. I ended up buying what I should've bought in the first place. It is not as pretty but it will be easier to handle when I scratch it.

It was a great price on an equally great Rifle

Beautiful rifle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
