I have decided to sell my Watson Bros. Martini. It's all original with the original makers case. The rifle is in great shape with some expected finish wear on the metal parts, but functions perfectly. The wood is really nice with a fancy horn forend tip and horn butt plate. It looks much better than my lousy pictures. The bore is very good and shoots to the sights at 50 yards (that's as far as I've tried it) with Remington factory 215 grain ammo. The case is in rough shape and the only remaining accessories are the key and a pull through. $5000.00 shipped.

You need one nice full length shot of the rifle.

I see what appears to be the BSA 3 stacked rifles trade mark on this rifle so it would seem that the rifle was made for Watsons by BSA, is that correct?

I don't know. I emailed Watson Brothers with what I could read of the serial number but it didn't show in their books. But there was one that was one digit off. The serial number on this rifle is only in one place and that is on the wrist of the stock where it joins the action and is very hard to read. I sent them two more emails with my best effort but have not had any more response from them.

I saw a similar rifle on a site that also had the 3 stacked rifles and marked BSA. I have a BSA bolt sporter with the 3 stacked rifles so I think its likely that BSA either built the rifle for Watson or supplied the barreled action for it.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
