As re you sure it is 22 inch barrel. Did you shorten it. Looks longer than that in the pictures.

I am pretty sure it's 22" from the tip of barrel to the action, so with the threads it's a bit longer

Must have had that length of barrel from factory, marking match and are in the right spot, if AHR would have chopped off the barrel the front marks would be gone?

I would think Wayne shortened the barrel to 22” as that is his usual recommendation on big bore DG rifles.
