Is $1600 about average to fly from the ATL to JNB via coach class?

Sounds about right depending on the month you are traveling. Which month are you going?

Nothing is set in stone yet because I'm not sure if I can get two straight weeks off of work but the plan would be for August '13.

I usually figure $1700-$1800 for a budget when all is done but that's just me.

Sounds like a good average price ! June and july are normally higher !

I went June of last year, round trip was roughly $2100 per seat. Seemed pretty good for a direct flight.

A friend of mine went recently in May for $1350 out of Houston, thru Atlanta to JNB. Crazy thing was that the flight from ATL was $1700??!! Seems to me like it should cost you more to get you TO ATL, then $1700 for the same flight.

I have seen the ticket from $1600 to $2200, again depending on the time of year.

I took that same flight last February. From ATL to JNB then on to Polokwane was about $1750 for coach class with all taxes and fees included.
ATL to JNB is a very long flight!

Just booked my flight from Anchorage to JNB via ATL in July for $2300. My fathers flight from ATL to JNB was $2100. Hope that helps.

bloody hell you guys have good flight prices
from melbourne through to sydney then direct to jburg is aud 2750 economy

Going from HNL to JNB via ATL in Aug 2013 Price is 2080.00 USD

ATL to JNB in May '13 is $1975 w/economy comfort upgrade.

Ok JGRaider is a little bit wiser. I'm 6'4" tall and currently weigh in at 280 lbs. When I see anyone talking about economy I cringe. The last time I flew economy from atl to joberg I had a dr prescribe me vicadin for the arthritis in my back. Before I left I also found a few perkasets. When I got into Atlanta I went straight to the bar and purchased 3 double shots of crown. I then quickly took one vicadin and one perkaset. I barely made it on the plane without passing out. I swear to god that plane didn't take off and no sooner than I set down did those pesky flight attendants start shanking me frantically yelling "SIR ARE YOU OK!!!" after about 2 minutes of that I was able to regain some sort of consciousness and realized that no one was on the flight. I panicked and asked what happened and they told me the flight evacuated about 10 minutes prior to me waking up. I asked what the emergency was and they informed me we had landed in joberg. They also told me that they were calling the EMT's to turn them around and were going to let me go that time but if I ever did that again they were going to put me on some sort of special flight ban list with delta. I explained to them what I had taken and they said never to do that again or they would definitely ban me from taking any more delta flights. I also had to quickly find my luggage and change shirts. My shirt was soaked from head to toe. The only thing I could figure is that I was drooling on myself for 14 straight hours lol.

Now I spend the extra money and burn 50,000 sky miles and purchase the "M" class economy fare and upgrade it to business class. My round trip tickets for may 7 2013 were $3,950 from Albuquerque to Joberg and back. I think that's pretty reasonable beings as I get to stay in a bed the entire way.

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
