Those of you that have a FFL and sell some ammo and a few guns do you you carry liability insurance? If so what can you tell me about it? Thanks. Had a FFL years ago. In the process of getting it again. Mostly for selling big caliber rifles locally, and shipping rifles. Will also carry some odds and ends in the store. We have a cafe that has a (junk) store in the back. Thanks again.

I am going to make an assumption you will have insurance on your building or contents. Most agents will put a rider on your coverage to include liability. If you are having customers you will need some sort of coverage even for slip and fall incidents. Should be rather painless to get, and a good idea

Yes we have all of that. Wondering if I need liability insurance for guns and ammo specifically. For the guy that puts 06 ammo in a 7 mm and decides it is my fault.

Don't you think the insurance company could avoid paying if something happens... I mean they are not in the business of giving money away.

At one time my father in law was kicking around the idea of getting into business loading and selling ammo. My wife works for an insurance agency and looked into it for him. I’ll ask her if she can at least get the insurance company’s name

I formed an LLC, it offers a pretty good from of protection. Paid 1600 per year thru NRA Business Alliance. Worth it, but I was not allowed to make receivers from raw materials, did repairs and refinishing, plus selling and consignments. I would not load ammo, that is a separate license. LLC to me is a first step. I actually do not know of anyone that gor sued, be particular of what you do, still going strong with my license after 20 years. Best to you!

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
