In Spain, and in Europe in general, houses are not usually too big. Most people live in flats that are 100 m2 or less.
Although my house is larger than usual, a good option is the euro mounts; especially for species that you hunt frequently, allowing you a good collection in a small space.
In my case, they are the European roe deer and wild boar and the African springbok, impala or warthog. For some american hunters, the repeated trophies may be whitetails.
See some examples:

Roedeers

Wild boars: above. males; down, females (When hunting in montería, the sex is not known, only the size)

Springbok and impalas (the picture down is a Kalahari sundown painted by myself)

Warthogs and some african ebony sculptures

I like it, especially the display of wild hog tusks.

very classic !

Do the small discs provide information about the trophy (when/where)?

Very simple and classy @Ngaka! I love it! I too will need to focus more on skullmounts because of lack of space :)

By the way, that painting is lovely, you have a hidden talent :)

They are small plates of galvanized brass and somewhat convex where the place, date and name or initials of the hunter are engraved.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
