I have an eland hide coming next month and am looking for ideas of what to have made with it. I had my Buffalo hide made into many items and would like to do the same with the eland. Suggestions of what and who will work with the hide? Thanks

That's a lot of geography to work with! Keep us posted!

Hair on or off?

I’m not sure about what the OP has.

But I have one with hair on sitting in my office and wondering what to do with.

Hair off. Just hopefully some nice leather to do something nice with.

I had gun sleeves made
From an eland hide. Beautiful leather, perfect for that sort of application.

Put a zebra skin on it.

We upholstered the kitchen chairs with hair off eland leather, My wife has two back pack style purses from the same leather. Had a couple wallets made. (Have a very good leather worker locally). have a little bit left. My wife shot a eland last year that the back skin is being made into leather , currently with the taxidermist.

Nice Report! Im about to pull the trigger on booking the LDE with Patrick. I have been talking about it with him for about 3 yrs now. Romain hit me up the other day with an offer I can't refuse for 2027.

Andrew, I commented that your on 375 H&H for sale was the fair price.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.
