The writings of Shane Mahoney are rife with the kind of stuff you are looking for. It is hard to keep all my magazines straight, but I think he writes for the Boone and Crockett magazine. One area of focus for him is North American Wildlife Model. I think he is out of Newfoundland.

I'm not sure about the Fair Chase magazine (B&C publication), but I do know he also writes a column for Sports Afield magazine called Conservation Corner. I always enjoy reading his columns in that magazine.

I second the notion that Game Changer is a great book!

Conservation Force is another organization that has a lot of what you are looking for. Their website has a plethora of articles about the role of hunting in species conservation.

Their News and Bulletins section has a lot of information as well as their Hunters Resources section

There's been some great articles and videos posted today in other threads. One is a video from Mr. Mahoney and Conservations Vision, Inc. in this forum. Also in the Hunting Africa section there is a great article from Conservation Force (Cecil the Lion a Redux thread) detailing a lot of the misinformation regarding the Cecil the Lion fiasco.

More great information to disseminate to those who will listen.

You are correct. Mahoney is in Sports Afield. This is the one magazine that I keep. My personal favorite writer there is Kevin Robertson.

Per "Game Changer"-I belong to an internet forum that attracts all sorts of political views. I always recommend Game Changer to anti's so we could have a common basis for discussion-but for some reason, they never take me up on it.
