Now that i figured how to post pictures and have posted all my African stuff, I thought you might enjoy a couple from my August hunt. Hunted with High Arctic Lodge 90 KM north of Cambridge bay.

The next 2 are from a site about 2 KM from camp, skull was dated 1500 years old. The other picture is what is left of a Caribou antler blind.

Awesome Pics, and a fantastic Muskox.

that's a weird one !!!
do they cook up good ?
is that its summer coat or is it malting?

Arctic hunts are great! Thanks for the pictures, I love your musk ox.

Thanks for sharing, that's a hunt I would like to do soon.

Unique trophy. Thanks for the post and pics.

It was a great and unique hunt. The outfitter and guides where a breath of fresh air for a Canadian outfitter. Bluey as far as cooking up the meat is very mild a lot like grass fed beef. The barren lands are so much different then the rest of Canada, and the culture is very laid back.

Congrats Spooksar on a great trophy! Hoping in the next few years dad and I can head up towards Cambridge and turn a good hunt.

Interested in knowing if everything was 100% or if you experienced any hickups during the hunt? How was the weather in August?

Again, congratulation's on a awesome animal and adventure!

No hiccups with the hunt, weather was 3-7 degrees celsius. only problem was First Air left my meat in Yellowknife and sent it on Canada North, 6 hours later. Had a bit of a hasle with one lady in Edmonton but her superviser straightened it out.
