Ok, Dreamer or Captain Realistic, build your dream rifle. No off the shelf rifles or of if they are, they better have a ton of customized components.

Ideally, you pick the caliber and then put components together for your "dream" custom safari gun. Barrel from precision research or Bruz or? Action from who? Synthetic stock or wood from a specific stock maker. Rings and optics?

These are always a fun exercise in what if's.

I would like once again a 6 shot .404 with 24 inch barrel , laminate stock , Recknagel sights , Leupold 1-6 x . On a M98 of some kind

Or a Bull barrel 20 inch .458 Win , finer stock 6 shot also . Same styling .

My dream rifle would be a Krieghoff Kiplauff (single shot), Hubertus S Exclusive with steel action, 60 cm octagonal barrel in 6,5x57R, double line bavarian cheekpiece, exhibition grade dark Turkish walnut, ebony forearm and pistol grip. Tru Oil finish. Engraved with a deep relief game animal (Chamois on left side, Roedeer on right side) and leaf and English scroll. Irons with a quarter rib.
Dark leather covered recoil pad.
The engravings should look like that :

Blaser R8 Selous with 416RM and 458LOTT barrels. Grade 9 wood as a minimum. Z8i 1-8x24 scope and AimPoint T2 in mounts from INNOMOUNT. I'll also likely need an extension for the LOP. Sling from Murray Custom Leather. Also might need the kickstop installed.

Sounds very much like the 505 which I commissioned and am about to pick up . GMA action . Express sights only ( will fit a small 3 point diamond on front sight - great against dark hides and in low light ). Krieger 24 inch barrel . Orange rubber recoil pad . Wood work done be Ross Waghorn ( Australia’s No1 stocker - now retired ) ebony used for from of stock . He selected the walnut for me . Ross fitted the rifle to me - 14.5 inch LOP , I don’t recall cast dimension . A little engraving ( no game scenes ) by Ray Croxon. The barrel has been machined to take 600grain Woodleigh bullets and Hydrostats . It takes 3+1 rounds. Bob de Vries in Melbourne did all the metal work and project management . Not sure of final weight but it is likely 10.5 pounds + . Can’t wait to take possession and shoot .

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
