@Heavyload - I am, but only the couple I own and have had for 50+ years because they have “meaning” to me beyond being just a decent knife. I’ve found Buck 110 & 112 folders to be a very solid—-Strong reliable folding knife and good quality. There are now many good (even better) quality folders — “better” being defined as higher grade steel, lighter, thumb stud for easy One-Handed opening etc.. But a Buck 110 or 112 is a “classic” and always will be…and I still like my Bucks and regard them as “heirlooms” to be handed down to kids/Grandkids but for me it is because of their “history”. I called Buck Knives a few years ago and asked “why” they don’t add a Thumb Stud option on their existing 110 & 112 Folders? Was told “Because it requires the stud ‘hole’ be drilled Before the heat treating process”. I also asked “why” aren’t they offered with a mirror finish vs. satin and in better grade steel? I can’t recall their response but it seems some “updating” has been done. They are very good quality & sturdy - as sturdy as any folder made and a very reasonable price. Also, for me, the classic look of BRASS, real wood scales, and a nice blade profile = timeless design and excellent Function. You just need to find the right Buyer (likely someone Born before 1980)
@Heavyload - your asking price for the Buck knives is reasonable - just need to find the right buyer….Buck knives have a large following and for good reason — when you call them you get to speak to a LIVE Person !
