I searched, but only found a comment regarding using mag na port to have R8 barrels threaded. I have a couple ('06 and 300) that I wouldn't mind having threaded.

I seem to recall seeing a post some time back regarding having someone (in Texas?) else thread barrels.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I bought my Blaser R8 22lr kit from Van at Top Dog Guns Global. He had purchased 10 kits from Blaser and sent them out to be threaded. Not sure who he used, but they did a very good job. Might give him a call to find out.

Pack up the barrels and send to Magnaport in MI
You will regret having anyone else do it! This is who does it for Blazer and their dealers in the US

Top Dog recommended Magnaport to me several years ago! It did my Surgery residency and fellowship in Detroit years ago and had Bill at Magnaport do custom work on multiple guns.
His son now runs the Company and does a great job

Blaser outsources threading to Magnaport and will move your front site for free if you have one

Thanks guys. I will give them a call to check on price and timeline. I did not see anything on their website related to the threading.

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
