You mean with his dog about to be charged by a buff, or hooked to the wagon while the guys are bird hunting?
Don't know about bird hunting, but there is a dog and the Bamster is holding a scoped rifle. Spittin image!

I got you @sestoppelman , I was being a smartass referring to the mules (or jackasses) hitched to the wagon in one of the bird hunting paintings. But you’re right about the other one looking just like him.
I recently got done with this one- “Reckless Abandon- King of the Kalahari”. I really enjoy oil painting as a hobby- while I’m not hunting of course

don't know if this qualifies but it is a painting by john banovich,named ,tlou ledimo.as you can see its on a leather pillow.the original painting is quite large and expensive.he shows his work at the safari club convention.
