A very talented wildlife artist
I like them a lot!
John Seerey-Lester is the greatest living artist of hunting genre. One has a prominent place in my trophy room.
Broad areas of excellence. I had not heard of him. Thanks for the introduction!
Another artist I have come to enjoy is South African artist Rindi Odenaal (possibly spelled wrong)
WOW, some great looking paintings!! Would love to come across one sometime!
He and his wife will likely be at DSC actually working on a project. They are usually sponsored by by Call of Africa Native Visions Gallery of Florida. They would be happy to sell you one of their originals (for as much as a buffalo hunt) or a framed glitche print for the cost of a plains game hunt. However, they several books in print of their work, of which the Roosevelt series may be the best (several are noted above by the OP). Sporting classics carries those for less than the cost of a box of ammo. Great for the trophy room. https://www.sportingclassicsstore.com/collections/books
I have a scetch of hers of a buffalo. She obviously has a real feel for the subject that can only be gained by experience.
How did Obama get in one of the paintings? LOL. Fantastic art!
Are his paintings and books available in South Africa? I‘m stunned! Have never seen anything like this before.
Great pictures! Thanks! Makes me want to get out my sketch book and give it another try.

Wonderful paintings. Great subject knowledge, you can almost feel what the people in the paintings are feeling. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
