Hello all!
Been a hunter/shooter since I was seven and a reloader since my early 20's. I've never owned a double and have decided it's time I did! The English doubles are beyond my financial reach but I have seen some Chapuis, Merkel, and Heyms available in .470 NE that are affordable. The only reasonable way to purchase for me is to buy the gun via the internet shopping as opposed to being able to shoot/compare them. The dealers within a reasonable distance that "carry" the brands I mentioned don't actually have any available to "test."
I've been reading extensively and this is an outstanding resource for an aspiring double owner!!!!
