I got at $50 amazon card from work as an atta boy. My safari is not till next year but are there any decent supplies for $50 bucks on amazon or just buy a copy of "the perfect shot II"?

I do have the mini version.

Only you can decide. I went back and looked at my Amazon orders before my two trips, and for less than $50: a specific style sling for a particular rifle, cartridge carriers - belt and butt stock, socks, a hat, a new shooting rest for my tripod for practice... I am sure it could be an endless list.

Check with your outfitter to see if they need anything they can't get or buy gifts for the help.. Check with the outfitter if you go the latter route.

I have to disagree on this. Only use a TSA lock if you want your baggage to easily be opened by someone other than you. I use zip ties, takes about the same amount of time to defeat as a TSA lock.

Noise canceling headphones for the long flights are awesome. It’s crazy how affordable decent head phones are these days.
For only 120 bucks

“Sony
WH-CH720NB noise cancelling - over ear”
Free shipping.

I would put that 50 bucks towards these if you don’t have noise cancelling headphones already.

All great suggestions so far. I do have the headphones and have used them on hundreds of plane flights. Airtags are a godsend and have saved me from some possible shenanigans with a gun case.

Love the suggestions and keep them coming.

You can disagree all you want. I'll be in the lounge having a drink while you are waiting on the government!
Thinking you have ANY security of your luggage in any stage of air travel is complete foolishness.

Philip, That's why I say the TSA locks are a waste of money! Other than that, I'm too old for lounges and can't imbibe anyway.

This got beaten up to death and I agree. So much misinformation online. My Amazon shopping list:

I bought these for my Pelican.

Luggage tags that are super tough.

Also on the list:

- Air Tags for gun case and luggage.
- Sawyer Permethrin

And you might as well have something to get you all jacked up on the plane:

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,
