<60 days away from Zimbabwe

I got news today my safari is a go!

I'll be hearing back to Zim for a leopard, bull eland and a klippy at the end of April. Here's hoping for no late rains and for big Toms!

Where/who exactly are you hunting with? Looking forward to hopefully another successful leopard hunt report!

I'll be hunting in Tuli on the Botswana border. I know there were leopard there two years ago as we saw a couple and heard many at camp during the night too. I heard it was overrun with lions last year and no one got spots so it's a bit iffy. We'll have to see!

If nothing else, I'll eat a lot of biltong which is half the point of visiting Africa anyway! :)

Best of luck rookhawk! Look forward to hearing the details of the successful hunt..

That's awesome rookhawk! Good luck to you sir!!

Awesome, have a blast, hope it all comes together. Forrest

Best of luck with the cat. I'll be right behind you in June.

What rifle you taking Rook?

What rifle you taking Rook?

At present:

A 318 Westley for a primary

A vintage 375 as a backup

And a side by side 12 bore for the sand grouse

If I find out tuskless is on the menu I may try out the unused .404 I was going to sell in lieu of bringing the 375.

Have a good time! Good luck on the hunt.

@rookhawk glad to hear some one is coming !!
Rains have been great - and still at it as we prepare for the next tropical storm.
Wishing all the best, who you going with?

Good luck on the hunt.

:D Envy, envy envy!
Please take pics and a report!
Have an awesome trip!

@Philip Glass good to hear you supporting us too. Good luck and enjoy
I love Zimbabwe and the people there. I had such a great experience there last year. It was really a unique experience for me.

At Kalahari Safari, the Small Things Are the Big Things
The thrill of the stalk. The stillness of the wait. The age-old rhythm of the hunt.
It’s not just about the size of the trophy. It’s about the stories that will be told for years.
We believe the memories are the true prize. The small things are the big things.
And we’re proud to offer a hunting experience that honours exactly that.

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
Two African Safaris Hunted South Africa both times,
9 game animals taken
