I have 3 boxes of Federal Premium Safari Cape-Shok .458 Lott ammo for trade. I will be keeping one round because the Lott round is super cool. Your choice of which round/type I keep.

I have 2 boxes of 2o of the 500gr Woodleigh Hydro Solids.

I have 1 box of 20 of the 500gr Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer Solids.

Willing to trade for (in order of preference):
.458 Win Mag
.416 Rigby
.375 H&H
.348 Winchester

Online, this stuff is ~$140 per box plus shipping. So, please offer trades of equivalent value.

We will both be responsible for shipping to the other person.

If you have any questions, just drop me a PM.

No thanks. If this place ever catches fire it will leave a smoking hole in the ground.

Would anyone be interested in them for $240 for the 3 boxes (minus 1 round of each type so a total of 58 rounds)? Conus (and no California) only and I will cover up to $25 in shipping.

I always keep my eyes open for .348. I would say I am the lightest on 250gr.
250 gr factory ammo is hard to come by. In 200 he factory there are a few factory original. Some are collectors and 30 to 50 years old. The newest is hornady 200gr flex tip. There are some made by winchester in the 80s and some made for Browning in 2012. Also 250gr, 220 gr barnes bullets are also available. Winchester aswell hornady brass are also available if you reload. Saying " lightest on 250" is confusing.

Respectfully, since you have opened everything and intend now to keep two of the rounds(originally it was one), you might as well dispose of for your cost. One round gone is as good as half a box in my opinion.

By lightest I meant I have the fewest of the 250gr loads in the .348 ammo drawer. I have been grabbing .348 ammo over the years.
I do reload and am familiar with the current .348 bullets out there. I do pick up a box of new 220gr Winchester every once in a while, but since I reload, the price they ask for it makes me cry :)
If you have .348 ammo you’d be interesting in trading, please drop me a PM and we can see what we can work out.

I am not quite sure how 58 rounds of high end factory ammo is useless or worthless in your opinion but the nice thing about the good ole US of A is we are all allowed to have that opinion and debate things peacefully and respectfully. Be nicer debating this in SA after a good day of hunting drinking a beer around the campfire :)
Looking at what 60 rounds of this costs, prorating it down to 58 rounds at the price I asked is still a pretty good discount.
My real hope is that someone who upgraded to a .458 Lott from a .458 Win Mag would prefer Lott ammo to the Win Mag so they have in the closet and offer up a trade. But we’ll see. Nice thing is, I don’t have to do anything with it right this minute.

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
