416 Rigby By Rigby Bespoke Rifle

Yea, so much for it being a good deal, at least to an American.

Why not? Do you pay import taxes when things come from the EU?

I'm not sure what it costs but have seen plenty of discussion on hiring brokers. Etc to get firearms imported.

You could contact Steven Bertram. He has a firearms import license and does a brisk business with it.

Unless there are somewhere import taxes or VAT to be paid, I'm quite sure that $2000 would be feasible. @Rare Breed: how much did it cost for you to have your WR imported from France to the US?

Might be an opportunity for you?
Maybe, but I already have an even finer (although much lesser known name) .416 Rigby. So unless from an investment point of view, I am in no real need. My fine rifle investment fund is going to house renovations this year :D

According to his web site, he bulk imports 3x per year from the UK. About $550 each gun.

Plus 1% of value for insurance, shipping to FFL, and yes there is a duty charged on top.

$1500 to $1800 for a single. I assume from Poland it would be a single. I have no idea how much the duty would be.

No real need? Where has that ever entered a serious discussion about buying guns on here. LOL ;)

Haha, I should have chosen my words more carefully in this community :D
let's say that my money has other priorities right now than adding a second .416 Rigby.

I have experienced the following all within the past 15 months; from France all in $1300. From Canada $1000 all in. I have found some will charge a fixed cost and some have a sliding scale based on cost of rifle. Even at $25k should be under $2k

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
