2024- Zim - with my son, SA likely as well, AK full bag
2025- Zim for sure who knows maybe Europe
Hoping to add some waterfowl hunts here and there as well.

2024: PG with my son on his first safari
2025: Leopard

hopefully after the above all I will have left is rhino for my quest for the big 5

October - Alpine chamois in Austria along with vacation in Austria and Hungary with the lovely Mrs. Red Leg.

February - delayed Argentine red stag hunt with my son
May - Ibex and Roe Deer hunt in the Gredos mountains of Spain with vacation in Southern Spain and Morocco with the lovely Mrs. Red Leg
October - delayed Viking river cruise (does that count?) with the lovely Mrs. Red Leg

Though fully paid for, the Kamchatka bear hunt will never happen in this lifetime.

April '24 Gredos and Beceite roe deer (4) while a friend hunts ibex and all of us (spouses are along) then enjoy the south of Spain for two weeks.

December '24 whole family in Costa Rica for Christmas and sailfish.

April '25 Hungary for roe deer (4)

February '26 red stag and water buffalo with @MG Hunting in Argentina.

This September had a great red stag hunt in Romania.

Next September have booked a private Villa in Umbria for a ‘hunt with a chef’ adventure. Wild boar, red deer and truffles on the menu.

Next October a return to AZ for
Coues deer.

2025 back to Romania and somewhere in this mix I’ve got to get back to Botswana to track eland in the Kalahari.

There’s still great bear on the AK peninsula. Although not guaranteed, it’s unlikely Putin could mess that hunt up!

I just finished hunting in Romania for fallow deer yesterday.
I’ll be heading to Namibia in March 2024 to hunt Kaokoland again for plains game for 12 days.
Then I’ll be going to Zimbabwe July 2024 for Bull Elephant for 14 days.
Then Masailand in Tanzania in May 2025 for buffalo and plains game for 10 days.
Hopefully I can add a few roe deer hunts somewhere in the next 3 years as well.

I’m also excited to attend DSC again this January it will be my second time going. The first several years ago was really eye opening.

2024 - Plains Game and maybe a cow buff again at Bos en Dal already booked for July…

Idaho elk and mule deer planned with buddies in 2024 as well…

2025 - annual pilgrimage to SA will happen again I am sure… group of buddies already planning to do a PH course in addition to a hunt…

2026 no hard plans yet… but I’m thinking driven boar in Central Europe is sounding good right now…

- Living vicariously through the rest of you

I have to ask, how was the fallow hunt? Eastern Europe for fallow has my attention.

I’m roughly in the same state. I’m going to change jobs shortly (all good reasons). We are just going to hammer out investment goals for a few years. Then it is my turn. Probably 3-5 years.

2025 - Europe, possibly Irish stags, UK muntys, or Fallow
