Anyone have some brass for sale?

Thanks Kindly

make it from .338 win mag brass

If you find any, please let us know. I've been looking for 6 months.

yes it will, all you have to do is take the rifle to a shop that lazer engraves and have 338/ engraved in front of the 458 and problem solved. I know a few people do that.

There are several listings for new .458 Win Mag brass on gunbroker. I have no connection to any of the sellers and not vouching for them, but it is for sale there.

I suspect that might cause some issues when u want to take dangerous game with the rifle.

Will not be a problem

Try contacting Desert Tech Munitions who are the US distributors for Bertram Bullets. The DesertTech Munitions website indicates that Bertram 458 Win Mag is currently out of stock, but nothing to be lost by asking when they expect the next shipment.

If pressed for time, buy some Hornady 458 Lott brass and trim it back to Win Mag length. SAPS unlikely to look beyond the "458" on the head stamp (especially if you're using a permit service).

It's about 1 month out.

It is a great pity that guys in the US are short on .458 Win brass, I have a lot of brass myself in both Australia & NZ, even a bit in SA but I’d most likely keep hold of most of it just in case, but just yesterday I was offered a large box of .458 brass from a shooter getting out of his big guns !

What is it worth in the US & is it viable to send from NZ, I know at that the least postage is over the top but what of the rules/laws at the US end ?

Based on a cursory glance, it appears that any entity that comes in contact with the package along the route can reject it or destroy it based on a wide array of vague rules that allow lots of discretion on the screener's part to say "nope". The basic consensus is that it has a high probability of failure & it's not worth the effort. And that's for clean, new brass.

If it's used brass, then scanners detecting gunpowder residue adds yet another insurmountable hurdle that will derail the attempt to mail.

Yep I was figuring something like that in this day & age.

Seems only yesterday I bought heaps of brass, projectiles & barrels from the US sent to my door.

Some of the brass I was offered was new by the looks, maybe I should get it anyway but I don’t think I’ll live long enough to use it lol !

As of tonight. All set thanks to a few gents on this forum.
Much Appreciated!
Frank.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is kdp59935@gmail.com in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer

Good Evening. I am very interested in you hunt for the spiral slam. March in 2028 would be fine for me

Couple of quick questions:

1) Can we add some additional species on
2) what do you want for a deposit?
3) how do you want me to sign up

I'm on whats app or email
