Awesome bull, all those long days made it worth it!
Story well told.
I recall Christophe calling Buffalo in with the same call in Central Africa. It is amazing to have the herd coming at you.
Congratulations.

Love the way the outside of the horns are worn white from him pushing through the bush.

Wow, what an amazing hunt and beautiful buffalo. Congratulations!
Are you going to do a shoulder mount or Euro? I think he deserves to be a shoulder mount.

Your right he deserves to clutter our house til I die and will be a shoulder mount....then I suspect he will end up in a bar room somewhere after I'm planted in the ground. ;-)Wow, what an amazing hunt and beautiful buffalo. Congratulations!

That's a beautiful buffalo. I'm no expert, but if I ever get the chance to hunt one, and could pick the shape, it'd look exactly like yours. He's stunning.
You had my adrenaline going following along. Very well written.
