Seems that I have difficulty with bushbuck. I’ve flat missed two that I was able to collect on the 2nd shot. Another I shot too low trying to gauge height in tall grass, but was able to finish the job. This ol’ Zimbabwe ram was starting to round off horn wise, but came at the end of a very enjoyable stalk for bushbuck along the river. Moving in and out from the brush along the side. I was proud to take him.
Along the same river, my son had taken a bushbuck earlier that was miscalled by the tracker, as they were hunting alone. He was offered another animal, and we built a ground blind along a wet stretch of river. He and I manned the blind and made the call on this nice ram. A perfect hunt

It looks like we took our BushBuck on the same property. Beautiful place to hunt that is plentiful with game.
