IMO stay out of the way and let the kids advance based on their capability and work ethic. I have spent a lot of time in third world slums where folks, no matter how capable, cannot climb out of the mire without help. That is not the case in this country. Kids have no one to blame but themselves if they don’t take advantage of the opportunities this country offers. Most well intended social programs just create dependency, lack of work ethic, and failure to contribute to society.

The government on its best day is inefficient, and proves itself inept over and over and over again..

Parents and the children themselves should be responsible for their own well being..

The argument can be made that some parents are shitty… and I’d agree.. some of the worst humans I can think of off of the top of my head are politicians…

I’d prefer to take my chances with the private sector compensating for shit parents rather than the public sector..

But seriously, I don’t understand it. My cynical belief is that it is a lot cheaper to kill someone than provide them with the support a death with dignity requires. Also, medicine is really great at keeping people alive, even when they shouldn’t be. I suppose the line between withdrawing the technology of medicine to allow someone to die, and actively facilitating death, becomes quite thin.

Yes. Gov control, socialist types like RLD will never grasp this concept. Everything to them is cookie cutter legal script. Many, possibly most governments around the world hate to admit or refuse to admit they can’t take care of their citizens and especially their kids. So they defer to a bunch of arbitrary rule makers and gov. bureaucrats who maintain their job security, control and power base by making rules for adoption and foster care so entangled, expensive and regulation laden, most otherwise good, potential parents seeking kids to take care of are prevented or actively blocked from adopting or fostering. I can not think of a worse parent than government. In many countries you will see large extended families form this way, completely outside of any government involvement… for good reason! I know because I live it. The likes of RLD, etc. only know the contrived government law book side while conveniently hiding the self-righteous and may I add the lucrative $ side of the equation My hope is RLD has an office in Toronto with a view of Lake Ontario …. and every time he views it, the thought of “Lac du America” pops into his head… a seed planted by Trump, germinated by TDS and fertilized by imagination

We could use that law here in the states.
The only one left in the Capitol building would be the janitors.

Yep. What’s upside down is that Duterte was arrested at direction of the Marcos globalists. The Marcos family is the most corrupt group in the history of the Philippines. Sound familiar with the attempts to get rid of Trump? BHO visited Duterte in Manila when BHO was POTUS and Duterte was prez of the Philippines. BHO publicly demanded Duterte end “human rights violations”. Duterte immediately escorted BHO to the door and told him to never come back. BHO was lecturing Duterte while dumping loads of cash on Iran. Duterte was trying as both mayor of Davao and president of the Philippines to clean the country of drug gangs, commie insurgents and Islamic terrorists while BHO was funding them. Duterte had widespread support in southern Philippines after cleaning up Davao and much of Mindanao. Doesn’t have to make sense, sometimes the truth doesn’t. A clear understanding of reality escapes many. Some refuse to believe factual history. BHO is responsible for much of the current world turmoil, especially in the ME and domestically with the silent Islamist invasion we are witnessing now. Politics in the Philippines is a nasty business. Political rivals sometimes send assassins after one another, kill family members, kidnapping, and extortion happen often.

U.S forces disabled two Iranian tankers, and destroyed a third, after Iran fired ballistic missiles at U.S warships.

Thats a dick thing to say and wasnt even close what he is saying.

We have every liberal on here saying how the hard it to is to move up, how hard it is to get started, how the education system is lacking, and when anyone says on how it used to be, they are dismissed as times are different.

You know what has changed, we have had more and more government intervention, regulation and spending.

So what does the government need to do, set the rules, set the guidelines and step back. You cant manage to equal results/outcomes.

I’m curious to hear first hand accounts of all this indoctrination taking place. Not your great aunts third cousins Facebook posts, but actual witnessed events. I know I have a very small sample size, two kids one school, but I don’t see it happening. I’m not saying it is, but I believe that 99% of what people regurgitate is made up.

My favourite is the old litter boxes in the bathroom rumour. Who the hell is cleaning these? Are they in stalls or in the open? I’d they’re in a stall, did they pull a toilet out to make room?
