The new mounts are mounted - trophy room pics

Incredible setup. Looks like a great room to shoot the breeze and sip some bourbon.

Nice trophy room. Love the Buff. Impressed by the size of the Wolf. We converted my attached garage into a new living room/trophy room last year. I have some of my critters on display there but am still waiting to ship home the ones from last year's safari. It is an ever changing work in progress.

This looks very good. Congrats.

Some very beautiful animals in there. Well done on the groupings/placement of the animals. Looks great!

Great! :D Beers:

Nice and cozy :D Cheers:

I’m going to come out of left field and say I love that you had baseball on while taking the pictures! Nothing like sitting in your trophy room, watching a ball game while you stare at your mounts and relive the memories!

I'm curious what your golden wildebeest looked like to you in person, as far as coloration goes.

In your trophy photos it looks more golden, but maybe some brownish/blue color to it. In your trophy room it looks even more brownish (could just be the lighting).

In the trophy room it almost looks like a cross between a golden and a kings.
Sorry if it comes off rude, I don't mean it that way. Lighting and photos can change what color something looks so much, I am just curious what your opinion of its coloring is in person.

No rudeness assumed. I do notice the same thing in the coloration and I attribute it to the bright sunshine the trophy pics were taken in making it look more "golden". Though the light in the trophy room is very bright the spectrum is different. His stripes are silver in person in the trophy room making his skin looking rather wrinkled though it is not.
The only thing I can add to the possibility of the animal being a cross of king and blue is there are no kings near the area the wildebeest was hunted and there are hundreds of blues. The goldens in the area were born there.
The same "golden" and sunlight issue was noticed with the blonde black bear. He looked very golden in the field and blonde in the trophy room.
Great observation Sabre!

It is amazing how different animal hides can look in different light and due to the camera changing it. I had a bushbuck like that. In some photos it looked light chocolate, in other photos it looked very dark brown, and some almost black.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
