Only stupid sheep are afraid to stop following the flock. Stereotypes are for fools who don't have enough brains or courage to think for themselves outside the box. And it's pretty obvious to anyone who knows me that I don't belong to that club. Does avoiding stereotypes make me more of a man? I don't know and I don't care. It makes me me. But you go ahead and carry a knife if that's what you think it takes to be a man.

Or does wearing stage props make you less of one? Hmmm.
I’m going to try to be polite here…
It’s possible he meant more in line with what is often perceived as an aggressively contradictory stance in many of your posts. Maybe it’s autism, or oppositional defiance disorder, or just good old fashioned grumpiness, but when it comes to discussing personal preference topics, your responses are tiringly contradictory to the point it presents as intentional, malicious, or willful ignorance.
You have a modicum of experience and knowledge. You are not, nor are any of us, the ultimate authority on any topic discussed here. It’s not productive to the discussion nor the atmosphere here to dismiss other perspectives as below your rationale over and over and over again.
The “best” contributors to discussion on this forum offer their perspectives based on experience and research, but do so with a healthy dose of humility, which does not conflict with, but rather enhances and is enhanced by confidence. When asking questions to which they do not know the answer, or clarification of answers, they are able to digest the good and the bad without inflammatory responses, even when those answers might conflict with their established opinions.
THAT is part of what makes a male a MAN, not being “right” all the time.
