The 2 books in front are my latest thrift store finds. The Weatherby book on the left side was a gift from a friend who is a business associate of Weatherby. Still have more Africa books to read, just hope for enough time to do so.

A deep thinker she may have been and it's just as well she was, because she wasn't going to win any beauty pageants. Perhaps sleeping with Eric Stoltz will do that to you. :ROFLMAO:

Her philosophy was strong. I always struggled with her writing. Repetitive and overwrought.
 
African wise I’m currently on Death in the Long Grass, outside Africa readings Louis L’amour short stories volume 3.
Robert Rourkes books were last month.

Silent Spring (1962) Author brought pollution caused by myriad sources to the forefront, and then she mysteriously checked out soon thereafter....Her work was the forefront of environmental policy in the US and abroad (which she gave her life for.)
 
50 Great Stalks by Col Craig (Boddington); Waco by Jeff Guinn: Lonesome Dove (again) by Larry McMurtrey; Go Down Together (story of Bonnie and Clyde) by Jeff Guinn; and one of the Capstick books-- I think Death in the Long Grass. All are enjoyable. I tend to read a chapter or 2 out of several books each evening so I don't get bored reading just one. Any of those I listed will keep you entertained.

Almost done with Ruark's "Horn of the Hunter" and Keith's "Big Game Rifles & Sixgun Cartridges and Loads"--one volume for Keith's combined books. Ruark had quite a sense of humor, along with an appreciation for adult beverages. One understands, regrettably, how he died young of liver complications. Keith brings a plain-spoken realism I've loved since I first read an article by him in Guns & Ammo, September '67.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
