Unusual Trophies

Racoon penis toothpick.
I think I’ll pass on that one…….
Dog has Bull Penis treats the wife gives him.
Usually wait a couple hours till I let him lick my face….
Room smells rather”Randy” when he is enjoying one

Wow man. I don't even have a snappy comeback for that one....

Bears and otters also have a baculum like coons. I kept the one out of my brown bear and cleaned it up and use it to stir/mix drinks. Works great.
The real Arkansas toothpick

Black wildebeest tails make nice fly swishes. I also like the unusuals that tell stories with no taxidermy costs. Marula seed pods found in elephant dung, a plastic Skin So Soft bottle found in the middle of nowhere AK that had been chewed to shreds by a brown bear, elephant chew sticks, complete lower jaw of old and massive brown bear found on Kodiak, etc.

I have not received these items yet, but I'm having them done with the buffalo I shot last year. Out of the buckskins, I'm having a purse made for my wife, a belt and cartridge holder.

Book holders from the front hoofs, and two lamps from the rear hoofs.

I had this lamp made with white tail legs.

Ashtray from Eland front hoofs.

I have an ashtray made from the cow buffalo I shot in 2022, that @gizmo did for me, but I don't have a picture. I'll post one later.

I have fly swishers coming from a black and blue wildebeest this fall.
Did you have any trouble getting marula seed pods through customs?

Here are the other items I had done.

Here is the ashtray.

Being from the mountains of Tennessee and also familiar with Southern KY, a dried coon pecker was often inserted into the drip line of a moonshine still to direct the alcohol into the jug. Just something to remember as you sip your shine!

No issue with the pods, clean and dry… packed in checked bag. Once they go through an ele gut, most all the viable seed parts inside the pods are dissolved away. After washed and dried not much to get excited about. Same for a few small pieces of hardwood and 2-3 mopane ele chew sticks. I guess it might give some inspector job security to spend time getting excited about that type thing, running around in a circle hollering, “biohazard!” :):) At worst I suppose they’d take them and pitch them in the trash.

Here’re pics of some marula pods, post ele :) and one of the chew sticks. Elephants will stand around after eating and chew on these sticks, grinding between their molars, like someone chewing on a toothpick.

That was really thoughtful of him though. The first thing I thought was, "gross. Nasty sandals!" Then reality kicked in and I said, "Oohhhhh..Right.."

Recovery of those is probably less “offensive” than the gut rocks in a gator.
Gut rocks from gators or crocs would be comparable to gastroliths (gizzard stones) from dinosaurs.
I call some of the marula pods- miniature ET skulls. :)

I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.

Hello,
I might be able to help you out depending on how many you need. I could probably spare 50-75 .285g A-Frames. They are factory pulls that look like new. Let me know if you are still looking,
Thanks,
Gary
