Seemed like his time to go.... lived longer than many of his contemporaries and lifestyle, and had a late resurgence with his reality show. Passing of an era
 
I remember where I was when Randy died and now I'll remember where I was when Ozzy died.

It makes the Sabbath show a remarkable accomplishment indeed all things considered.

An end of an era. Ozzy has been struggling with health issues for a few years, as well as spinal surgery from a fall.
Saw him in concert way back in 1981.
