Smile Brent. It doesn't take a lot of effort. At least hopefully? Because some of you Tangerine Tyrant butt-sniffers don't seem to have much of an IQ.

If you were at some sort of international hunting event and met Brent and he happened to say "hey look at this", showing you an eye roll inducing picture like the above, would you haul off and call him a low IQ butt sniffer??? Or would you simply roll your eyes and play it off? Asking for a friend.

To be fair I sent it to a Catholic friend of mine last Sunday and he thought it was funny.

Trump posting it was probably beneath his position (nothing new there) but in a vacuum it’s not that big a deal. The Catholics I know who were outraged by the picture already hated Trump. The Catholics who like, or at least don’t mind him didn’t seem to care.

Personally, as an Anglican, I’m holding out hope for Trump to become next Archbishop of Canterbury. ;)

(To be clear that’s a joke. The Church of England needs a massive shakeup but Trump has no business being anyone’s pastor)

Unfortunately, a huge number of US army personnel records from WWII were destroyed in a fire in the 70s.

Pretty much every record of my maternal grandfather’s time in the army air corps was lost except for his discharge papers. Pretty sad.

I can take or leave Trump as a normal guy. As a president I just hope his policies are solid and effective. As for that picture, I honestly can't believe people get worked up about it. Most were already looking for a reason as @Rocked and Loaded pointed out. I think I've barely shrugged my shoulders at it. At the most it's a ridiculous sort of amusing. Maybe because it's too well done? Maybe I'm just very hard to offend. I also don't think it's wise to start getting bent out of shape about a bit of religious humor if you know what I mean.

Is this sort of "humor" appropriate for the office of the President of USA or a high school locker room? I get that Trump likes to troll, that being said, is offending part of one's constituency worth it? Midterms are around the corner.

Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.
