Sorry about the photo quality but when I ran across this thread I couldn't resist sharing. This is a Nyala shot in the Eastern Cape years ago with a 9x56 Mannlicher Schoenauer and open sights. I also took a Mountain Reedbuck with the rifle on the same hunt. The PH loved the rifle and the idea of using it. Note that I also had a 300H&H along that most of the bigger and farther away stuff was shot with.
