It was a good smoke, not strong at all, I’d say med body, lots of smoke, and burned well. For such a little cigar it burned cool and not hot, with hints of coffee, cocoa and toast. Since this was a gift, I’m going to look for them :)

I’ve been thinking of doing this, I think I have enough boxes laying around. I know for sure Uncle Mort has enough :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I've had them, and they just don't quite fit the bill with me. I've never smoke cigarettes or anything, until I got into cigars. I started smoking Churchills size cigars, and now I seem to enjoy Corona size better. Seems like I smoked them fast, and ended with a headache. LOL!!!!! So, I'm sticking to cigars. :)

I smoked them in college when I didn’t have money for cigars. I like them for a quick break when a cigar will take too long, although I haven’t had one in years. I also like cheroot or small cigars to fit that spot in the lineup.

Thanks for the replies. I actually find them very enjoyable, especially the "club" sized ones. It works well if you don't have an hour to spare or if the weather is bad...

Yep. But that’s a small tree if I am building! LOL

Seriously, I take my empty boxes to the shop and put out on the counter for contractors to take to keep their what-nots in. I usually wait until I have 50-100 boxes and it’s like Christmas around the office when that happens. Guys even calling other guys because the “cigar boxes are in”. It’s amazing the simple things that can bring such joy. Of course, my joy comes from what was inside the boxes.

You back home yet, Mort?

My local cigar shop sells empty boxes at $3 each I think?

Nope. Looking like power back on Thursday or Friday, hopefully. Again, minor disruption because so many have lost so much, both property and loved ones. So if anything, just a reminder of what a blessing life really is, and how I have come to take for granted even the most basic things for which i should be grateful. Venison may have been ruined, but cigars won’t go bad!!!!!

Watching media coverage of the tornado damage. Truly devastating.

You could get some dry ice for the freezers.

I’ve seen some of the coverage and it breaks my heart what they all are going through so close to the holidays. Tragic and sad!!!

Smoking a different Camacho tonight, I found in my big humidor. :). This is Camacho Diploma, I don’t believe they make them anymore :(. Great smoke.

Luckily the the “Quad State Tornado” fizzled right as it got to our county. One of the AH members I reached out to was only 5 miles from the worst destruction.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
