Namibia 2021

Good luck and have fun. What are you hunting? What airline are you flying?

Good luck check the rules for getting in they seem to change daily

The flight is booked! End of October I will travel to Namibia, hunting one week near Maltahöhe.
Back to normal life!
@Luederitz
Be prepared to have your life changed. Namibia is an amazing place. Try to get to Etosha national Park you won't be disappointed.

It is the third time Namibia, this year just one week time due to my job. Next year I try to stay at least 10 days for hunting.
I booked Lufthansa/Eurowings from Frankfurt, they are used to ship weapons…

Let‘s see if this year a Kudu will cross my path.

Back in Germany.
Up to 42° Celsius, daily average 20 km walking...
Unfortunately no Kudu crossed my path, but at least an old Oryx bull (horns little more than 90 cm) and a huge Springbock.
Looking forward for next year, again Namibia, but most likely another place, maybe in the Waterberg region...

@Luederitz
What did you use to leave a hole like that in a springbok.

35 cal 250gr Hornady roundnose didn't remain in oryx, landed somewhere in the Kalahari region after leaning a golf ball as LL sized exit hole at around 120 yards.
This is what it looked like before loading it.

Aren’t Lufthansa eyewateringly expensive to carry firearms from Europe to Africa ?

Yes, the price is really excessive...
I hope for competition next year (maybe Condor) or I will try Ethiopian Air...

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
