And another gun I no longer need. This shotgun has hunted behind my GSP from Montana to Texas and New Mexico. It has taken Hungarian partridge, chukars, prairie chickens, prairie sharptail, mountain sharptail, blue/dusky grouse, doves, etc.
It comes with an Americase.
Asking $4,500
Specs:
28” barrels
2 3/4” chambers
choked improved cylinder and modified
Pull- 14 1/2” front trigger, 13 5/8” rear
Cast off approx 1/4-3/8” (appears to be 1/2” at heel)
Drop- 1 1/2” comb, 2 1/2” heel

I forgot to mention this has a buffalo hide cover on the recoil pad. It makes it a little smoother to mount, ie it doesn’t grab like rubber recoil pads.

Is the BAR pressure 900 KG per sq cm ? Or 800 ?

Recoil pads on a SxS Spanish shotgun? Sacrilege I say. ;)

That has to be one of the most ill-informed critiques I've read in awhile.

That gun has an english pigskin lined pad. There are about ten people in North America that can properly apply one. They cost $500-$700. They are 100% proper for best guns.

It is of the highest style executed to the best form and thats the critique?

Boss, Purdey, Woodward, Dickson, Westley, Mortimer, Egg, Harkom, Holland, Green, and Greener thought they were acceptable on their best guns but I guess they were hacks?

Seriously? I guess you did not see the ;) , or decided to ignore it before going on a small rant.

And I am aware putting the leather pad is very skilled work. James Flynn who has been doing that work for all H&H sold in the USA for decades did it for two of my double rifles and they look magnificent.

Sorry, I did’t realized what you were asking sir. It says 900 kg. Thought you were asking about the symbols which I have no idea what they all mean.
Bad lighting on the pictures. I’m not noted for my photo skills.

It is a very fine shotgun sir. I am sorely tempted but have been trying to behave myself of late.

Well, I’m going to play a Toby458 and have decided to keep this one. I was thinking this weekend about my old dog and all the great times we had together. This is off the market.

A wise decision!

Dang fine shotgun and DOG!! If you ever find yourself in SW Arizona, let me know! I'm in Yuma and we have some of the best Dove and Quail hunting out there!

Stunning gun and a very good looking dog! Good call on keeping it.

A little late to the party. But if the gun is still for sale , I am vert interested.
Sorry, but this gun won’t be sold. Just too many fine memories with my now gone dog. He was my only hunting buddy on so many great trips. We travelled really thousands of miles together mostly just the two of us. I miss that old dog!!!
But thanks for the offer sir.
