Pointless exercise anyway. There is only one certainty - there will be an election in two years time, and another in four. For Heaven's sake someone get to grips with strategising and planning for a big win. It is so dead easy:
1. Choose a candidate that appeals across the divide.
2. Energise the electorate, not just the home base.
3. Make it easy to vote, harvest votes, mail in, the Dems started it, you perfect it.
4. Stop whining, it will not help your next candidate. Push sensible policy, policy, policy.

The flaw of the ignore feature, is those on the ignore list can still see your comments, and reply to them.
A full block feature would be much better.
