This is my map from a month ago and I will stick with it.

Perhaps I am optimistic with NH and NM. The rest I feel really good about.

On the flip side, I think VA and CO will be very light blue. Light enough to make some liberals nervous going forward. ME and OR might even lighten a hue or two.

The Senate should hold Republican. The House is up for grabs. Which ever side wins, it will take an iron will to hold the majority together on close votes.

If your a Democrat, and have grown sick of my posts in this thread, feel free to call me out in a couple days if Biden wins. I will deserve it for obnoxiously pushing a cause the past few months.

The win in the key "battleground" states is going to have to be by a significant margin.. or we're going to be dealing with "hanging chad" scenarios and arguments all over OH, PA, FL etc... They will drag this election out for 6 months if allowed...

I’ve been sitting in my County’s Auxiliary Court since March. I have three Deputies assigned to me in that court. My chief deputy informed me today that he will not be in court tomorrow because he’s been pulled for the expected riots tomorrow. Their intelligence has said that they are expecting bused in protesters in Austin, Dallas, Houston, El Paso and San Antonio.

Goes along with what I heard from one of the Biden folks at one of the polls saying they were going to get some guns and shoot some people.

I never thought I would see that type of day. But am I prepared.

I am not sure. There isn't a lot of Federal Law Enforcement for that sort of thing. A few federal marshals and the Guard are about it. And they don't arrest people - essentially use intimidation and form barriers to try and control crowds. The worrisome thing if some armed fanatic(s) start shooting. Those kids won't be deployed with live ammunition - at least not initially.

The last line of defense will be active military. They have no riot control training, but can deal with an armed insurrection pretty decisively. However, you can just imagine how that will be spun. The Orange Hitler using his storm troopers to put down legitimate protesters to hang on to power.

Its going to be a seriously shitty day when the 82nd, 10th MTN and the 101st end up getting deployed in BN strength across every major city in the US along with their MRAPS and uparmored HUMVEE's for riot control purposes.. there is no way blood doesnt get spilled at least a couple of times in that scenario..

Sadly, until about 6 weeks ago I would have sworn we'd never see that happen in the US.. not in my lifetime.. and honestly, the thought that it even could happen never crossed my mind before then...

Today.. I cant say that..

I still dont believe we're going to see that level of civil unrest in my lifetime.. but.. I no longer think its an impossibility.. and clearly at this point the thought has crossed my mind a few times..
