For Sale M1 Carbine Fully Transferrable Machine Gun

Uh, not sure what you mean. Backdoor who? NFA stuff is not legal in WA for ANYONE, period.
I should clarify this to mean with the exception of military, police and federally licensed manufactures.
Just having an FFL is not enough, as in general they are illegal and have been since the earth cooled, even though some say only since 1994, aint so.
Ffl 7

You dont have to have a business to get a Class 3, 7 or FFL.
You're right, you didnt need to argue to begin with. You don't understand federal law or how the ffl process works.
My original statement stands true if you want to own NFA in Washington, get your license buy all the toys you want.

All you have to do is start your own town, get a bunch of people to move there; incorporate as a city, start your police department and then you can get one as a law enforcement agency. However if you are going to go to all of that trouble you'd probably be inclined to get something a little more formidable than a 30 carbine.

So you dispute what Silencer Central stated then as well? I would agree with you that I don't have much knowledge of the FFL process but I can read plain English and in English WA laws make it pretty clear that full auto is not allowed in general. Perhaps with the right FFL one can purchase some things, but as I read it only if engaged in business and not for personal use. Its considered contraband for the rest of us.
And anyway what would be the point of owning them if you cant shoot them?
I have lived in WA for most of my life, born here. Its not been legal to own or shoot full auto in all that time, born in '53.
Regardless your assertions, and I don't really care how smart you think you are, FFL or not, you cant just buy all the machine guns and toys you want, that's just baloney.

So, some clarification here. An FFL with a Class 3 SOT is not a manufacturer and as I read the law would not be exempted. However, an FFL that is a Class 2 SOT would be. 07/02 can make MGs, repair, and deal in transferable as well as post sample machine guns. As an 07/02 no law enforcement demo letter is required to manufacture new MGs, and when a C3 or C2 is giving up their SOT status, the C2 may purchase MGs from that SOT without a demo letter as well.

Once one has an 07 FFL, all that is needed for the SOT is to pay an annual $500 tax, assuming you don’t make a certain monetary threshold in a year (the amount escapes me at the moment). The tax is due by July 1 and is not prorated. Stay below 50 guns a year to be put into commerce and you can avoid FET as well.

Give up your SOT and anything besides machine guns can be put into personal inventory (is state law allows) except for post sample machine guns, but this can be sold to other C2s for a nice profit since a demo letter is not required.

Hope this helps clear some things up.

Sure they are, thats why I said get your FFL. Dealers can have NFA stuff.
FFL/ SOT ,Class 3 license (May Have terminology wrong) dealers may be able to operate in these states but you’d have to check for sure. Point is there is different licenses besides FFL,

Guys if you are from a socialist state that does not allow Class 3 guns or suppressors please get off my thread. I am trying to sell a rifle here in the classifieds. It is a great gun in great condition and is an excellent investment hence the reason I’ve shared it with our community. If someone from a Texas is interested the transfer process is pretty easy but not too hard even for out of state.

Philip

I’m sorry that was rude of me. I just hate the government and unjust laws and I really do feel for you folks in states with many restrictions. Our freedoms are under attack like never before.

Shot a number of them in the past and the M2 is just a fun little rifle to shoot. Good luck on your sale.

Understand the FFL debate back and forth but the poltics section would be a better place to have it vs a thread where a member is offering something for sale.

I have a Winchester M1/M2 Carbine in very good condition for sale. This is a fully transferrable machine gun anyone can own. I am not a dealer, just a collector and have this one rifle for sale at this time. These are very limited in availability and a very good investment. Most guns go down in value, these only go up! These are now selling for $10,999 from the big dealers. $9500 OBO

@Philip Glass if this thread has illustrated anything (other than you having a nice gun for sale) is that the rules are ambiguous and complex for most States. You have to remember Texas is as bizarre as California or New York, only in the polar opposite manner.

If someone buys it they surely will understand the laws of their state.Otherwise, people should stop kicking tires and saying what is and isn’t legal...it doesn’t matter if you’re not the buyer!

Looking back I think it's really strange that (speaking for those of us in states that can own them) many of us never knew we could own suppressors or machine guns years ago. Here in Texas we have always been able to own NFA items. You know how popular suppressors are now!

Colorado is a MG state also. The local gun store I haunt has a display full of suppressors. I’m not paying $600 for one though. A guy out East here (Dragon Mans-google it) has fully auto rifles for sale and every year (or used to) has an awesome MG event where he shoots FA weapons including .50 BMG, WW2 MG, 20mm cannon, etc. at old trucks and stuff. He has a fully restored WW2 halftrack with a mounted .50, probably for an African hunt. He has a M60? tank too. You can pay and rent MG to shoot on his range. He also has a World Class Harley Davidson machine shop building and repairing HD engines from customers all over the world. His wife was killed a few years ago when they were filming an event for TV on their property. Apparently, a firework mortar went off unexpectedly right next to here and struck her. Anyway, way off thread here but nothing else going on here except for the unrelenting heat and lack of rain! You have a very nice M2 for sale. I have a Thompson .30 M1 which I really enjoy shooting.

The Thompson was next on my list before I stopped buying. What a cool gun to have. MG are cool and such a great investment. They just go up.
