For Sale.
Winchester 70 XTR Featherweight 7mm Mauser. Beautiful little rifle, in the perfect deer/ medium PG caliber. Rifle appears to have been fired very little. Wood and metal are both in great condition. 22" barrel with iron sights.
These rifles with the iron sights are somewhat more rare than the plain barrel models, and command a higher price.
I bought this rifle recently, and have only fired it 5 times to regulate the iron sights. They are now dead on at 50 yards. Feed and function is flawless. Trigger is excellent. I'm selling this to help fund my recent Heym 404 Jeffery purchase. So please help keep me out of the soup line!
Price $900.00 shipped to lower 47. California and AK extra.

I need to win the lottery so I can sit and wait for your posts!

Very Nice!

Nice rifle in my favourite small calibre , I would love to buy it as I have a stock from the custom shop with some incredible grain that it would fit in, but alas I have a small VC double from DSC and a 2021 safari booking that has taken all my toy funds. Some one will get a great rifle.

Toby you buy and sell more guns than the rest of us on the forum put together! I have owned one of these in 7x57 (without sights) since I bought it new in the 80’s. Mine is heavily used and I would not part with it for twice this price. Best of luck with the sale, the Heym and the safari!!!

Oh well another depression inducing rifle offer.....:(

I had a model 70 in 270 from this era of manufacture. These are good guns. The later New Haven rifles had some problems, as most people are aware. And they have the original model 70 trigger design, unlike the current FN manufactured rifles. Great caliber.

Can’t believe it is still here!

Really nice rifle. I cannot believe it hasn't sold yet either.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
