Hey guys. Who's up for a informal night of drinks and stories at HSC? I'm thinking everyone can meet at the Lobby Bar at the Hilton America on Friday night at 6:30? With a good enough turnout, maybe we can grow this over the coming years. Who's game?

If the group doesn't get up past 20 or so, I'd be willing to host at my place. I live .5 of a mile from GRB and a $3-5 Uber ride from anywhere downtown. Drinks would be cheaper (BYOB ) and I have a few mounts to peruse over.

Now I'm curious. Going west, I think Bagby is a bit more than a half mile from GRB. Going east is Denver Harbor. Going south is 3rd ward, and going north is 5th ward.

Unless you live at The Rice or Hogg Palace or something like that.

Gotcha - the edge of Montrose. You're REALLY close to Buffalo Bayou. Did you have any issues from Harvey? I'm down in Sugar Land. We got water about 10-12 feet up our driveway, but nothing in our house.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Karen & I live about 20 minutes southwest of the GRB Convention Center and work hard at never missing a good time and a cocktail or two.
