Another reason to hunt South Africa and not Zimbabwe

How can anyone be expected to hunt without access to KFC???

I mean there are rough hunts and all, but you have to draw the line somewhere!!!

   Leading fast-food chains in Zimbabwe have shut their doors as the cash crunch in the country worsens - just two months after President Emmerson Mnangagwa won elections.
   
   KFC put up notices at its branches in the capital, Harare, and the second city, Bulawayo, saying they would remain closed "during these difficult times" until further notice.
   
   "This is due to the fact that we are unable to source stock from our suppliers as they require US dollars. We are doing everything possible to resume trade as soon as possible," the notice said.
   
   St Elmos pizza outlet said it had shut its branches for the same reason, adding that it would use the time to do some deep cleaning and repairs:

Many years ago, I worked for a company that had several offices in Ireland. One of the men that I worked with had been based there for a year or two when the offices were just getting started. He had many interesting stories about how backward things were. One was that a KFC restaurant had been closed by the government after it was discovered that they had been serving rabbit instead of chicken. My outfitter/PH came over to the U.S. to drum up some sales. I gave him a pair of turkey legs with some big spurs on them and a nine inch beard. He put them in a checked bag to Joburg. The beard made it, but not the legs. Never did know what the deal was with them disappearing.

Surprised they haven’t changed the name to ZFC (Zim Fried Chicken or ZANU-PF Fried Chicken haha)! If money/chicken is short on supply, they could serve Zebra Schnitzel, ZFC would cover that also!

There's plenty of chickens but KFC doesn't have United States dollar bills to buy them. The Zim "notes" are basically worthless.

Here's one thing all these NGO's and PeaceCorps can do. Help build restaurants that use local African ingredients and all the profits go to the owner instead of some faceless franchise. Help with the starting costs and make sure the place can run on its own. Like you have so many mom and pop places in America, why not in Zimbabwe or other countries?
