Hello Everyone, We want to thank everyone for the responses to the Once in a lifetime leopard hunt. We sold the hunt to the first hunter to reply. I wish we could have had one for everyone. Please note this hunt was advertised below cost not to be repeated, also do not expect other Safari companies to offer this price, they would not stay in business long if they did. We offered this for one reason to show Zimbabwe National Parks the quality of game that we have in the conservancy. I may or may not agree with them on what constitutes a quality animal is it how it ranks in the record books or is something unique about the animal. Rightfully so some hunters are looking for that 45" buff with maybe a bit of hair between the boss and another "usually" from Europe want that big old dagga boy with a massive boss and horns completely worn down, which is the real trophy that is for each hunter to decide. I know what I prefer, but that is not necessarily what our governing body wishes to see.

The input that we have received from the forum as to what each of you want in a camp and a safari is staggering. Something that may be trivial to one hunter is important to another. In the future we will do our best to see that we will do our best to accommodate everyone, but at the same time knowing that we can not make everyone happy in every respect. One thing is for sure if we make our hunts to expensive the average Joe or "Mary" will not be able to afford to experience what Africa has to offer.

In one of my messages I stated that sometime in the future something very exciting may take place in our area and if that does take place the members of the African Hunting Forum will be the first to know. That project is still moving forward and hopefully by years end we can make that announcement. In the meantime I suggest everyone learn more about Dr. Ron Thompson and the fine work that he is doing with the TGA, true green alliance. During our two years in the Mucheni conservancy the various NGO have been our biggest enemy and it is people like Ron Thompson and the TGA that keeps us going!

Hi Hogpatrol, I have followed you for some time, sometimes with amusement! This hunt is sold and will never be repeated, it was to only offered after someone did not fill there commitment and we have to establish a quota for 2019. No scam and we believe we have built a very nice camp at we hope to offer a excellent destination are reasonable prices. Just trying to think of ways to do it where we can continue to operate, but still be affordable for the working man!.
