While Cougar ("Lion") hunting in New Mexico a couple years ago the dogs found this spotted beast.

What an incredible experience to find a Jaguar.

Very cool thanks for sharing! Nice pic also! Were you the one hunting Mt. Lion?

NO. Just found the picture and was amazed and wanted to share it.

If it were me there would be way more pictures.

Waaayyy cool!!! I'm guessing that was down south by the border, but spectacular to know they are out there.

Awesome! Hope we get more pictures going in this thread...

What a sight!

Amazing that one was that far north! @BRICKBURN the next thing we all know they will be spotting them in Montana!

I remember that post on the cheetah ! Wonder if they ever got it back to its owners?

Beautiful pics. I will have some to add to this thread in Nov. if I have time to post. My wife is heading to Brazil specifically to take photos of Jaguars. The organizer had 13 or 14 photo opportunities when he last was there. So we'll see what happens! They are a majestic predator. Bruce

Hunted mountain lion in NM twice now with no luck. My wife and I drove the back roads of CO a month ago. Parked our camper on a back road and had a black bear visit while we had dinner and then a mountain lion the next morning while having coffee! I had a tag for each, but of course the seasons hadn't opened yet.

A jaguar would just be awesome to see!

I would love for 'murica to have a breeding pop. of jaguars. The idea of having a big cat within our borders is really cool.

I have already written about Sasha Siemel, the biggest Tigrero ( Jaguar hunter ) ever in the post I mentioned in the subforum of South America.....

I really wish could put my jaguars pics taken 23 years a go, but in the media times We are living.......That would be a mistake......I got them in Bolivia and Paraguay where there were no regulations 23 years ago.......barely there exist some now but not to much.....anyway Jaguar hunting is completely not allowed in any part of the world at the present day......

I hope you enjoy and let´s keep going in this threads.......

See you.......

Looks like Sasha was the original "Most Interesting Man in the World"

Stay thirsty my friends!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
