22 days in SA with two weeks (12 days hunting) in the Limpopo September 2015. Hopefully I'll draw the bison tag I've been applying 10 years for and hunt sometime in between Oct 2015 and Mar 2016. Good luck and stay safe everyone, wherever your hunt may take you!

It's actually quite an amazing deal that I was able to secure on this hunt.
We'll do a 5 to 7 day hunt with a great outfitter on proven ground for about $11k all in plus flights which are only about $1800 for me.

We'll be going back to the East Cape in June with Lategan Safaris. I've known Bennie and Carein for the last ten years but never hunted with them. Bennie donated a hunt to the HSC live auction and decided it was time for a few sundowners around an African fire with them! I think I'm going to concentrate on some of the animals I ignored during my first trip in 2004. Mountain Reedbuck, Vaahl Reedbuck, steenbuck, common duiker, black wildebeest and bush pig. I'm sure Sandy will want to finish her springbok slam too! We'll have a couple of friends that are "first timers" to Africa with us (non-hunters) so we're doing a tour of Addo and the Garden Route down to Cape Town. Should be a fun trip. Later in Sept Sandy and I are headed to Saskatchewan for elk (another HSC auction hunt). I love it when I get to spend the year planning and organizing hunts!

A few years ago I hunted with Chris Troskie on Bennies place and another that Bennie hunts for a few days. I loved being sung to sleep by the lions in his breeding pens right below the guest chalet.

Don't know when we are going to Addo either maybe round then If you happen to see 2 American couples, a blonde with a guy that has a 2 foot long pony tail wearing a ball cap that is red and black that has "Africa" on the front that looks like it's ready for the rag bin...And another guy that looks like Sylvester Stallone with a brunette. That's us...LOL Have fun in the cape. I like it, easy fun hunting and a real vacation for a change.

Will do! Kinda the same here, two American couples, I'll be the one with the AH cap and the deep Texas accent. The other guy is ugly and bald. We both have wives that look too young for our old ass'es. Shouldn't be to hard to single us out...lol
