Best Boar Hunting?

They also grow them big in Austria and Spain. Both of these were spot and stalk. However, would agree the best value for a large boar would be Central Europe.

I have been thinking about booking a boar hunt in Europe. I am interested in a high seat hunt not driven. Where would I go for the largest boars and with whom?
Thanks

This type of wild boar hunting is practiced in many European countries, above all in my countries, and occasionally big wild boars with big tusks are taken. However, if you only do this occasionally, it is better to book a hunt with greater chances of shooting something bigger. Belarus was a good option back in my days, but nowadays for political reasons, I would look to other countries. Contact HUNTROMANIA.

Maybe Turkey

African Swine Fever has wiped out pigs here in Germany and Central Europe.

Especially big trophy tuskers.

Most of Eastern Europe is experiencing the same thing.

Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey seem to be ok.

Klemens huge pigs in Austria are probably $6000 now. They are high fence though.

I have not talked to him in a few years,

Specially in Romania and Bulgaria many areas are still without or very little boar population, caused by ASF.

Sure, but as with all diseases, the stronger survive, and in the case of the wild boars, it are these with the biggest tusks.

This theorie I never heared with a plague. I‘m hunting every year for driven Wild boars in Hungary, very often for stags in Romanian Carpatians- no hunter from those countries will tell you, that the strong Keilers ( tuskers) survive ASF better.

There are dead pigs everywhere. Especially around Frankfurt, so there are dead pigs all over the whole continent.

I have not heard that tuskers survive better.

Tongue in cheek perhaps.

One million wild boars are culled each year in France; these aren’t the largest ones, but it’s not uncommon to find some weighing between 100 and 120 kg, and the population is overpopulated.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.
