After all the stalks I have been busted on, the mornings I have been awakened by an Egyptian Goose I would love to have a meeting while properly armed. They are first on the hit list.
Can they be exported? (I have never looked into it)

Yip on the shotgun. I'm pretty sure that they can be exported since they are not near threatened nor indigenous. We don't even need to go to the Wing shooting area if you don't want. They're in the river right below us.

Last time I took my daughters.... if I could figure out a way to take Valentino... we'd be there. He would like to show Flex how to retrieve geese.

I really like the kudu add on too. My fireplace needs some balance and another kudu would help

Caped, salted, dipped and packed very carefully.
Zero fat left on the hides or they will spoil.

The taxidermist prefers us to freeze the birds whole, and deliver them to his studio just like that. They take care of the cape process and what needs to be done to preserve it.
On a side note, check with your taxidermist about the costs of mounting birds so that you don't get any nasty surprises. There is a lot of work involved and they can be very expensive to mount.

I didn't know if the skinners actually caped birds out or if they were delivered frozen to the taxidermist and they did it. Good to know. Thanks

I have been considering bringing a shotgun.
Is there less problem with a O/U? What about the Semiautomatic?

There will be no problem with the O/U. Semi-auto is not allowed.
Mine is O/U, so you're welcome to use it. But, I do know how one gets attached to ones' shotgun, so.....

Marius , double check with the PHASA girls . I think if you give a good enough motivation you can now bring semi- auto hunting rifles in.

We took a semi-auto Benelli to Zim in August without any problems.
