Love rhe rifle Gert. Very tastefully done.

Thanks for sharing.

What a great job they did and very good to see Italian smiths, that are often associated more with guns, or doubles than magazine rifles, turning out such fine work.

Are you planning to keep it as iron sights only - in some ways, it would be a shame to drill and tap that pristine action.

Yes, no rifle scope on this rifle , it is build as a dedicated walk/stalk short distance hunting in bush-veld areas of South African Limpopo regions..

I have cycled all the loaded rounds through the receiver, it cycles flawlessly, extracting positively , as smooth as my SAKO .300 as well as my Westley Richards 404 Jeffery rifle. This really is a superb rifle , incredible craftsmanship. The attention to detail is just incredible ....

Nice looking rifle. Everything a rifle needs and nothing extra.

Beautiful rifle!

Wonderful custom rifle. Perfect Limpopo stalking rifle.

Plains game and cape buffalo covered very nicely with one fine rifle.

Send us pictures of your hunts.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
