For sale is my Ruger M77 in .338 Win Mag. Serial number puts it as produced in 1978 I believe. The rifle is in very nice shape with some faint spotting on the barrel. Happy to send more photos if anyone would like. Includes a set of QD rings.

I bought this for my trip to South Africa this year but didn’t end up taking it.

Asking $800 shipped.

That was the third center fire rifle I ever bought. Nice rifle.
Thanks, it shoots well too, just no need for a hammer like this when there are so many other rifles out there I’d love to pick up!

Good price and a good candidate for a rebore to 416 Taylor if one is so inclined.

I wish you were closer so I could see the gun In person, my first gun was a Ruger M77 in 30-06, and I've always had a thing for them!
I’m happy to send you more photo if you’d like! Where in Wisconsin are ya?

Northwestern, little town of Barron to be exact! Nothing against you, I just like to hold a gun and look at it before I buy it! Probably a little far for us to meet up, not being sure where you are from?

I’m in the Quad Cities area, so far east side of the state on the Mississippi. And it’s a bit of a haul yeah, but not crazy, google has it at about 5.5 hours.

That would be a neat build, I hadn’t thought of doing that, though, unfortunately no DG hunts on my near horizon, but someday!

Awesomome rifle i have a bunch of those same rifles in 338 wm also .They are super accurate and have enough barrel weight to make them kick less .

Do you know the condition of the bore?

Did a quick check of ballistics these hit almost as hard as the 375 h+h but I dont think I could legal use it on cape buff., anyone know?

The bore is nice and bright with strong rifling. I don’t think the rifle got shot a lot. I only put about 30 rounds through it myself. I should also mention that I have 60 rounds of Norma’s Oryx loading that I can throw in for pretty cheap because this is my only .338

Yeah they have an awful lot of wallop, but I believe they aren’t legal on buff anywhere. I know the .338 WMs are popular on lion though.

Mine shoots clover leafs at 100 yards with winchester 200 gr power points .My favorite rifle have hunted 40 years with mine taken tons of deer wild hogs and bears no problems ever with these rifles .I shoot game out to 450 yards no trouble.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts
