For sale is my Ruger M77 in .338 Win Mag. Serial number puts it as produced in 1978 I believe. The rifle is in very nice shape with some faint spotting on the barrel. Happy to send more photos if anyone would like. Includes a set of QD rings.

I bought this for my trip to South Africa this year but didn’t end up taking it.

Asking $800 shipped.

That was the third center fire rifle I ever bought. Nice rifle.
Thanks, it shoots well too, just no need for a hammer like this when there are so many other rifles out there I’d love to pick up!

Good price and a good candidate for a rebore to 416 Taylor if one is so inclined.

I wish you were closer so I could see the gun In person, my first gun was a Ruger M77 in 30-06, and I've always had a thing for them!
I’m happy to send you more photo if you’d like! Where in Wisconsin are ya?

Northwestern, little town of Barron to be exact! Nothing against you, I just like to hold a gun and look at it before I buy it! Probably a little far for us to meet up, not being sure where you are from?

I’m in the Quad Cities area, so far east side of the state on the Mississippi. And it’s a bit of a haul yeah, but not crazy, google has it at about 5.5 hours.

That would be a neat build, I hadn’t thought of doing that, though, unfortunately no DG hunts on my near horizon, but someday!

Awesomome rifle i have a bunch of those same rifles in 338 wm also .They are super accurate and have enough barrel weight to make them kick less .

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
