It’s like a death by a thousand cuts. Canada was a great nation before the election of Pierre Elliot Trudeau, a card carrying communist. We had a slight righting of the ship for a while afterwards, but the Liberal party latched on to the “free for me” platform, which no one, in any party can compete with.
Unfortunately it will take a total collapse of our economy (Zimbabwe comes to mind) before the ship will be righted again. We are dangerously close to that now, with more takers, than makers, paying taxes.

Well said. 1968 was a horrible pivot point for a once great nation.

Formal response to the Trump administration's capitulation plan by the Ukrainian UN ambassador.

Ukraine has officially received from the American side a draft plan. We outline the fundamental principles that matter to our people. We agree to work on the plan's provisions in a way that would bring about a just end to the war.In this context, allow me to make several critical points.1-First, while Ukraine stands ready to engage in meaningful negotiations to end this war — including at the leaders’ level — our red lines are clear and unwavering. There will never be any recognition, formal or otherwise, of Ukrainian territory temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation as Russian. Our land is not for sale. Ukraine will not accept any limits on its right to self-defense or on the size and capabilities of our Armed Forces. Nor will we tolerate any infringement on our sovereignty, including our sovereign right to choose the alliances we want to join. Any genuine peace process must respect a fundamental principle: nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine, and nothing about Europe without Europe. And let me be equally clear: we will not reward the genocidal intent that underpins Russian aggression by undermining our identity, including our language.2- Second, support for Ukraine is indispensable. Peace requires strengthened security and sustained financial assistance to Ukraine. Reinforcing Ukraine's defense capabilities is not an escalation — it is the only path to compelling Russia to engage constructively in international peace efforts. In this regard, we express profound gratitude to all partners and allies. This support is an investment in the rules-based international order and global peace.3- Third, the Kremlin regime will not stop unless it is stopped through unyielding and concerted pressure. There is only one realistic path to ending this war: Russia must be compelled to retreat — economically, politically, and militarily.
Red leg , did you write this or is it a copy of a reply to trump ?

It is the response from the Ukrainian ambassador to the UN.

Woman who killed a man over a hurty word, I'm guessing squaw, elected to city council in Maine.

A convicted k*ller has been elected to city council in a Maine city, after beating a tourist to death over an alleged *racial slur*

The 35-year-old victim was beaten in the head and face
Sand was shoved down his throat and into his mouth, causing asphyxiation.
An autopsy confirmed death by suffocation due to sand inhalation and airway obstruction, with extensive blunt-force trauma.

51-year-old Angela Walker, with a manslaughter conviction on her record secured a seat on the Bangor City Council in Maine.

Walker will now decide issues ranging from public safety to economic development.

Her election has sparked debate with people questioning whether a history of violent crime should disqualify someone from public office.

Walker has been endorsed by the progressive group Food AND Medicine, and edged out incumbents and other challengers.

In 2002, at the age 24, she and her brother Benjamin Humphrey killed 35-year-old Derek Rogers, a tourist from Nova Scotia, Canada.

What started as a verbal confrontation, ended up being a deadly assault, leaving Rogers with severe head and facial injuries.

Rogers allegedly directed a racial slur – a derogatory term for Native American women – at Walker, starting the fight.

Initially, Walker and her brother denied involvement to investigators, but both later confessed, pleading guilty to manslaughter charges.

Walker also admitted to perjury related to her false statements.

She was sentenced to 10 years in prison Her brother received a similar sentence.

This says a lot more about the voters in Bangor, Maine than anything else.

Democrats can’t talk about Trump not able to be president, I believe manslaughter would be a little more serious than what Trump was convicted of.

Totally agree. He single-handedly turned this from a loss to a win for the Dems.
Except, folks are no longer talk about Epstein.

^^^^ until they release the remainder of the files that are so heavily redacted that only the header remains legible. Leaving more doubt and blame.

Allowing Dems and Republicans to accuse the other.

He doesn't hold back.... :D

Non of this crap coming out of the UK doesn’t surprise me anymore, it is making it’s way across the Atlantic rapidly and if our governments don’t open their eyes when they do the countries won’t be able to be brought back to their former greatness.
I don’t think Trump will allow it to happen but we never know what he may do as he is so easily distracted.

The source of our troubles lay with Blair who, through stealth and subterfuge, politicised every institution charged with the responsibility of administering the will of the people. He politicised the Civil service and other institutions supposedly under the control of parliament

In so doing he stripped parliament and democracy of any real meaning

He knew that he’d never get global socialism accepted if he asked the people of this country

So, he merely side stepped them

Introducing changes unnoticed by all of us

I suspect there is no way back - the damage is irreversible

I believe it! Last night 3 little green men from Mars got me out of bed and took me for a quick spin around the world and brought me back and put me back in bed, it only took 30 minutes!

Of course if something happens to her I’ll feel like a fool.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
