Can't believe Ukraine would agree to this. Also, this type of deal will only embolden Putin. Europe should be very concerned.

Will this be Trump's "Neville Chamberlain moment?" Peace in our time?

It will certainly validate Putin to the Russian people… he will end up in power until the day he dies… which isn’t good for anyone in Europe..

Except HWL who thinks the Russians or Chinese may be better partners for Germany..

This just sickens me. This "settlement" grants Russia the victory it can't win on the battlefield. The Trump administration might as well declare an alliance with Putin. No wonder Kellogg is leaving, or I should say, being tossed. Can't have anyone remotely sympathetic to Ukraine offering inconvenient facts.

Formal response to the Trump administration's capitulation plan by the Ukrainian UN ambassador.

Ukraine has officially received from the American side a draft plan. We outline the fundamental principles that matter to our people. We agree to work on the plan's provisions in a way that would bring about a just end to the war.In this context, allow me to make several critical points.1-First, while Ukraine stands ready to engage in meaningful negotiations to end this war — including at the leaders’ level — our red lines are clear and unwavering. There will never be any recognition, formal or otherwise, of Ukrainian territory temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation as Russian. Our land is not for sale. Ukraine will not accept any limits on its right to self-defense or on the size and capabilities of our Armed Forces. Nor will we tolerate any infringement on our sovereignty, including our sovereign right to choose the alliances we want to join. Any genuine peace process must respect a fundamental principle: nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine, and nothing about Europe without Europe. And let me be equally clear: we will not reward the genocidal intent that underpins Russian aggression by undermining our identity, including our language.2- Second, support for Ukraine is indispensable. Peace requires strengthened security and sustained financial assistance to Ukraine. Reinforcing Ukraine's defense capabilities is not an escalation — it is the only path to compelling Russia to engage constructively in international peace efforts. In this regard, we express profound gratitude to all partners and allies. This support is an investment in the rules-based international order and global peace.3- Third, the Kremlin regime will not stop unless it is stopped through unyielding and concerted pressure. There is only one realistic path to ending this war: Russia must be compelled to retreat — economically, politically, and militarily.

Glock Fail! ‘Unconvertible’ V-Series Already Defeated!

Published On: November 19, 2025 Updated: November 20, 2025 BY Larry Z

Well… that didn’t take long. Glock rolled out its brand-new V-series, the big, bold answer to lawsuits claiming their pistols were “too easy” to convert, and the gun world took about five minutes to prove the point Glock desperately hoped no one would test.

The entire pitch behind the V models was simple: make the pistol unable to accept a switch, slam the door on conversion, and get California and a handful of other states off Glock’s back. In theory? PR win. In reality? The internet took one look at Glock’s redesigned backplate geometry and said, “Write that down. Write that down.”

Before most stores even have these things in stock, someone has already managed to fit a switch into a Model V. Not hypothetically. Not “maybe with the right gear.” No, confirmed. The gun community essentially speedran Glock’s entire engineering department while holding a Dremel and a Red Bull.

And of course, the reactions were priceless from the AK Guy. “You can’t stop the signal.” “Life finds a way.” “At max two weeks” became “not even a month after the announcement.” Glock thought they were building Jurassic Park electric fences. The internet delivered the T-Rex anyway.

Glock, understandably, now looks like that meme of the guy pointing at a whiteboard while the room burns around him. They tried to appease anti-gun politicians by “proofing” the gun against a device that (newsflash!) is already federally regulated as a machine gun.

Instead of challenging the misunderstanding behind the lawsuits, they redesigned half their pistol and still ended up with the same result: a semi-auto gun that a determined tinkerer can force into doing things it absolutely shouldn’t.

That’s the part the video hammers home: the whole premise was flawed from the start. You can regulate the part. You can outlaw the part. But you can’t legislate away human ingenuity or a nation full of guys with 3D printers and questionable weekend hobbies.

And of course, anti-gunners immediately moved the goalposts. No sooner had Glock tried to “fix” the problem than activists turned around and targeted Ruger’s RXM for the same thing. Proving, once again, the political version of give a mouse a cookie: give an inch, lose a mile.

The bigger takeaway is simple: technology evolves, tinkerers exist, and gun laws written by people who don’t understand how firearms work always end up looking ridiculous. The V-series was supposed to be Glock’s peace offering. Instead, it turned into the fastest meme cycle of 2025.

What happens next? Glock has decisions to make, California will inevitably demand more, and the internet will continue being the internet. One thing is certain: the V-series was supposed to be the “future” of compliance engineering, and the future just got absolutely speed-run.

The irony in this whole thing is that V-series, even if it was unconvertible is illegal to sell at stores in CA. CA “safe gun” roster requires micro stamping, which no one has. Glock 3 which was being sold was grandfathered. None of the modern semi-autos are legal.

Very well said.

Every state in the east of Europe is arming as fast as it can

They know what is coming

Seems the further west you go the dumber the leadership

Never fear though, we in the UK have the stupidity World Cup sown up

No one can cap the morons we have at the steering wheel

Except perhaps a new leader from deeper in the pond

Not to worry, we, deeper in the pond (Canuckistan), definitely have the biggest mentality deficient leader in the world.
However he does have dual citizenship with the UK. I don’t know, but, he was educated at Oxford, so was he a moron before, or did he learn his socialist leadership skills from the UK.

At least we have both found something we are good at

National and cultural suicide

Those video comments were most certainly seditious and deserved the most direct and pointed response by Trump. You all better get on Al Green’s impeachment bandwagon. Pick a side,
Trump, at some point, needs to restrain himself and let the opposition hang themselves and not make the narrative about himself all over again.

It’s like a death by a thousand cuts. Canada was a great nation before the election of Pierre Elliot Trudeau, a card carrying communist. We had a slight righting of the ship for a while afterwards, but the Liberal party latched on to the “free for me” platform, which no one, in any party can compete with.
Unfortunately it will take a total collapse of our economy (Zimbabwe comes to mind) before the ship will be righted again. We are dangerously close to that now, with more takers, than makers, paying taxes.

You are so right but we need to remember who we are talking about. Trump will never learn that the dems supply the rope tie the knot and throw it over the tree limb and then he always opens his mouth and cuts the rope giving them a reprieve.

The ultimate irony for me is that Zim is (or was) my home

The family lost the farm to much the same socialist revolutionary greed as is now threatening the West

Though - of course - as with Zim there are multiple layers to the drivers of our destruction

Maine's Judiciary is clearly Athiest-Marxist. I cannot believe this ruling:

The father had the Exclusive Right to designate the religion for the child. It's the mother fault for allowing that as an Exclusive Right and not an Independent Right. All that said, the Judges' order does go too far restricting the Child's friends. I suspect, the order will be upheld in part and reversed in part.

In regard to the plan…
A senior U.S. official told NBC News that the plan was drawn up immediately following discussions with Rustem Umerov, the secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council. He “agreed to the majority of the plan, after making several modifications, and presented it to President Zelenskyy,” the official said.…

And…
Umerov denied this Friday.

"During my visit to the United States, my role was technical — organizing meetings and preparing the dialogue. I provided no assessments or, even more so, approvals of any points. This is not within my authority and does not correspond to the procedure," he said in a post on X.

As usual the administration is making shit up in order to put pressure on people.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
